Statistics: Russia’s inflation speeds up to 9.15% in February

MOSCOW, Mar 9 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation accelerated to 1.17% on the month in February from 0.99% in January, and accelerated to 9.15% annually from 8.73%, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.

Russia’s food price inflation accelerated to 1.56% on the month in February from 1.44% in January, and to 11.46% annually from 11.09%, the service said.

Non-food products rose in price by 0.78% on the month and by 8.96% on the year in February.
